Craigslea is well resourced with each classroom setup with an electronic whiteboard, data projector and sound system. The newly refurbished Year 6 block also incorporates flexible teaching experiences in indoor and outdoor spaces, Apple device compatibility throughout the block and learning zones to meet the needs of our senior students. Specialist teaching areas include the Music and Performing Arts classrooms, Digital Technology Labs and a pool that is shared with Craigslea State High School.
The Hall is primarily used for School Assembly but is also a flexible space that is equipped for performances including a stage with sound, lighting and visual display systems and large seating capacity. The Hall is also utilised for indoor P.E. lessons and includes a boardroom for small meetings and a functional kitchen teaching space with student workstations.
The school grounds include various play spaces including a Prep play area, Year 1-Year 3 playground and sandpit, tennis courts, purpose built Cool Courts for handball tournaments and giant chess and separate grassed ovals for Junior and Senior students.
Our top oval was refurbished in 2020 to include stadium style seating for outdoor events and new playground equipment and seating areas that are embedded with the existing natural features of the school grounds.
