Library Reading Club
Reading Club is open for all students and takes place before school in the Library on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:30am-8:50am. All families are welcome. Reading Club gives students the opportunity to read with a parent, teacher, teacher aide or senior student helper to develop their reading and fluency skills. Students collect a stamp on their Reading Passport each time they visit Reading Club and receive a Principal's Reading Certificate once their Reading Passport is complete.
Premier's Reading Challenge
Each year students from Prep to Year 6 have the opportunity to participate in the Premier's Reading Challenge. This program is coordinated by the School Librarian and runs through Term 2 and Term 3. Queensland Premier's Certificates are distributed in Term 4 to those students who complete the challenge.
