Last week, we were delighted to welcome the UQ Mobile Makerspace to our school, providing approximately 600 students with the opportunity to explore innovative technologies, hands-on activities and exciting STEM experiences.
Across the three days, it was wonderful to see students' curiosity, creativity and enthusiasm in action as they engaged with a range of activities designed to inspire problem-solving, critical thinking and innovation. The excitement and engagement from our students was truly fantastic to witness.
A huge thank you to the UQ Mobile Makerspace team for the time, expertise and energy they brought to Craigslea. What made the experience particularly valuable was having the team working alongside our staff and students, sharing their knowledge, experiences and passion for STEM. Our students not only had the chance to interact with cutting-edge technology but also gained insight into the diverse pathways that curiosity, creativity and STEM learning can open.
We are incredibly grateful for this partnership and the opportunities it has provided for our students. We hope this is just the beginning of an ongoing connection between the University of Queensland and Craigslea.
